New Baby!

Primary Text Separator for Milspouse Money Mission, Financial Education for Military Spouses

I truly had no idea how expensive a baby was going to be! Thankfully, when I was pregnant, I learned a lot about what resources are available through TRICARE and nonprofits. For example, I was able to add more to my baby registry since I knew my breast pump and accessories were going to be covered by TRICARE! Some bases even have nonprofits that throw baby showers or diaper drives with lots of free items. I also recommend looking to see if you qualify for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutritional program. Especially because it can help with the cost of formula.

Getting connected to some of these resources on base have given me the option to spend money I would have spent on baby items elsewhere! Babies are expensive, but they sure are cute.
